Psychologist | Gestalt Psychotherapist | Author | The PolyKink Therapist
I’m Jaime Gama, a psychologist with a Master’s degree in Gestalt Psychotherapy and the author of “Si te duele, ahí no es” (Penguin Random House). I specialize in ethical relationships — monogamous and non-monogamous — helping people build connections rooted in agency, consent, honesty, and emotional responsibility.
My work bridges worlds that are often kept apart: ethical monogamy, polyamory, kink, attachment theory, masculinity studies, and community-building. Through both academic research and lived experience, I’ve learned that there isn’t one “right” way to love — but there are healthier and more ethical ways to relate.
In my early exploration of polyamory and kink, I made the same mistakes many people make: pushing past my limits, confusing discomfort with pain, judging myself for what I felt, and trying to grow through suffering. That journey shaped one of the core principles of my work: growth comes from discomfort, not from harm. Pain is information. It’s not a rite of passage.
Over the past years, I’ve built a community of hundreds of thousands of people across platforms, offering practical tools and compassionate conversations about jealousy, attachment wounds, boundaries, insecurity, hierarchy, power dynamics, and communication. My approach is direct but warm, research-informed but deeply human.
I believe:
Polyamory is not superior to monogamy.
Jealousy is not toxic — it’s informative.
Kink is not about depravity — it’s about conscious exploration and explicit consent.
Sexuality is not just about genitals — it’s about identity, embodiment, connection, and authenticity.
Community is essential for relational growth.
As a neurodivergent therapist and member of the kink community, I understand firsthand how transformative explicit communication, clear consent, and emotional literacy can be. My work is especially supportive for people who feel “too much,” “too different,” or unsure how to fit into traditional relationship models.

Whether you’re exploring polyamory, rebuilding trust, navigating jealousy, strengthening a monogamous relationship, or learning how to distinguish pain from growth, my goal is the same:
To help you love ethically — without abandoning yourself.
If you’re here, you’re already questioning inherited scripts about love. That’s a powerful place to begin.
